Make sure to extra condense all retentive features and remove all excess flash!

*TIP: To avoid creating undercuts when carving anatomy, place half of the discoid cleiod on the cavosurface margin and half on the amalgam in the prep

*TIP: Use the cleoid end to carve anatomy and the discoid end to remove flash

At the end of the day, use what’s comfortable for you! Some people like the acorn burnisher, while others like the egg or ball burnishers more. Some don’t even use them at all! Amalgam is tricky at first and is a learning process, so don’t stress and just experiment till you’re comfortable :)
